My first impression of J'Von was that I could not keep up with his freight train of thought. Luckily, his rapid fire delivery did not dead my interest to comprehend his lyricism. What J'Von accomplishes in one verse takes multiple listens to digest entirely. No surprise why this EP is titled 'no motions': it is chockfull of wordplay and thick with extended metaphors that will leave a listener stuck with no choice but to press rewind.
